Der Concorde British Airways Modellbausatz im Maßstab 1:144 ist ein beeindruckendes Flugzeugmodell für alle, die sich für die Geschichte der Luftfahrt interessieren. Der Bausatz besteht aus 67 Teilen und hat eine Länge von 433 mm sowie eine Spannweite von 175 mm. Empfohlen wird er für Modellbauer ab 10 Jahren.
Die Concorde ist eine der spektakulärsten Flugzeugentwicklungen der letzten Jahre und wurde in Zusammenarbeit von British Aircraft Corporation und Aerospatiale hergestellt. Der Überschall-Airliner hatte seinen Erstflug am 2. März 1969 und wurde ab Anfang 1976 im Linienflugbetrieb aufgenommen (Transatlantik- und Nahost-Flugverkehr). Die Concorde ist mit vier Olympus 593 Triebwerken (je 17.000 kp Schub) ausgestattet und erreicht eine maximale Reisegeschwindigkeit von Mach 2,04. Die maximale Reichweite beträgt 6.580 km und die Passagierkapazität liegt zwischen 128-144 Personen.
Der Modellbausatz ist mit wahlweise baubarer Bugspitze in zwei Positionen, zwei Triebwerksgondeln und einem Fahrwerk, das ebenfalls in zwei Positionen gebaut werden kann, ausgestattet. Es sind zwei Abziehbilder-Versionen von British Airways enthalten, die das Modell individuell gestalten lassen.

Hintergrundinformationen:
Die Concorde war das erste Überschall-Passagierflugzeug und wurde von 1969 bis 2003 produziert. Sie wurde von British Airways und Air France betrieben und flog hauptsächlich auf den Strecken zwischen Europa und Nordamerika. Insgesamt wurden nur 20 Exemplare gebaut, von denen 14 im Einsatz waren. Die Concorde wurde aufgrund von wirtschaftlichen und sicherheitstechnischen Gründen außer Betrieb genommen.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
