Saturn 8K

I have been 3D printing for a while. I decided to replace my Elegoo Saturn 2 with this printer since it was older and started to do things that pissed me off. I also have a Saturn 3 Ultra, so it was time to upgrade the older one.

Let me tell you, this printer, the Saturn 4 Ultra is everything I ever wanted my other printers to be. The fact that I can send the file through the network instead of running round the house with a thumb drive is a game changer. Also, I love that it has a built in camera with an automatic Time-lapse feature. I posted my first one here.

Setup was easy, just get it out of the box, update the firmware, connect it to the Wifi, and GO! The auto leveling feature is amazing. I don't have to worry if it's going to fail because it's 2mm unbalanced or whatever. The quality of the first print was incredible. You can see individual hairs and the texture of the fabric of the print. So clear.

Lastly, it's not too noisy. Not any more than my other printers. It makes different sounds that I'll have to get used to, but not annoying at all.

Get this printer! I kinda want another one so I can replace my Saturn 3. :)

As a professional RC car building expert, I really appreciate this device. It helps me get things done quickly and provide best in class results. The speed of printing is incredible for this price range. Amazing build quality and easy to use. Great choice of resins to use that vary by color, strength and much more. You won't regret your choice.

I’ve had this printer for a few months now; it’s my first 3D resin printer, and in fact, I had never owned either a resin or filament printer before, so I’m completely new to this world. Even so, I’ve learned how to use and calibrate it without much trouble. The Elegoo videos are quite good, and there are many methods available on YouTube to fine-tune resin exposure, so my experience has been very positive.

That said, you need to be careful with the fumes and protect yourself from direct contact with the resin—regardless of the printer’s brand or model, it’s serious stuff.

As an additional note, I bought it in the United States and had it shipped to my country in South America, so I don’t have official Elegoo support. I took that risk, and so far everything has gone well. Overall, I think it’s been a great purchase in terms of cost-benefit.

I had purchased the Mars 4, Saturn and Saturn 12k in my lifetime all printed fine got my use out of them worked them to death and the Saturn ultra 3 is outweighs them all. Easy setup printed about 250 prints and only one failed on my part. had this printer for 3 weeks and its printing great. I recommend this printer. I use chitubox basic with their machine profile setting for Saturn Ultra 3 with no problems. The only thing I don't like is the black cover to dark hard to see it printing but not a big deal.
