Kobra S1 Combo, 600mm/s Multicolor 3D Printer, 320℃ Hotend, Built-in Camera

This printer offers outstanding performance for its price point. Having used Bambu printers extensively, I find the print quality nearly identical. Maintenance is simple, cleaning is straightforward, and printing a filament chute to collect purged material makes color changes much cleaner.

Assembly is minimal and user-friendly. The only minor challenge I encountered was with bed leveling, as the two Z-axis motors share a circuit and initially came misaligned or out so step with each other. After a quick adjustment (with a little AI guidance), the leveling now works perfectly.

Overall, I highly recommend this printer to anyone, beginner or experienced. If you’re new to 3D printing, take the time to watch a few slicer tutorials; it’ll make a big difference in getting the most out of this machine.

This unit came almost ready to use. Some unpacking and initial set up and we were printing. There is a bit of a learning curve with this. Some instructions were not as straight forward as we would have liked. There are plenty of youtube videos to help though.

This is my first 3D printer and I knew not much about how to print. The printer was very easy to set up. Good instruction booklet. Once you turn on the printer and follow the instructions it will go through a series of tests and setups. It will level the bed every time before you print. You can turn that off, but that makes sure everything is good to go for the print. I started with to print the demo prints included on the USB stick. It comes with a very small amount of filament, which was very disappointing. I to buy new rolls of filament to even start the demo. That is why I only gave 4 stars. The printer itself is awesome even for a beginner. The bed is easy to clean and the print quality is pretty good. I do like the bundle. The filament feeds easy into the printer and you can print up to 4 colors with it. Just be aware that when you print something in multi color, it has a lot of filament waste. That is a thing to consider. Printing it in 1 color and painting it saves definitely more money. Overall very happy with this 3D Printer.

Good quality it seems. Had a couple issues throughout the first 2 weeks. But a month later almost. Hasn't done much wrong. Had to add plastic repellant to metal piece on the schute. Set flushing volumes to 0.90. Use the computer anycubic orca slicer. App needs some work. Can do some stuff. But it's very limited

Despite some people not liking these printers i think it's a great printer, so I bought a 2nd one, after the initial straightforward setup and a benchy test print, it went straight to work on my big projects. I owned my other printer for just under 2 months with over 700 hours on it and the only issues that would ever arise is false "Spaghetti Error" or false "Filament Clogging". Due to having Ai turned on for prints, it's more sensitive to detecting problems. Otherwise, if you clean the bed every few prints with soap and water, adhesion is great and the prints are great.
